Emory's designs are well thought out and planned in advance as he is constantly sketching down new design ideas and possible illustrations. He recently completed a collection of Illustrations for his Uncle's book, "A Good Mule Is Hard To Find". The Illustrations can be viewed on emory's blog http://graphipaintartographer.wordpress.com/.
Some of Emory's best work is seen in the different wedding Invitations that he has designed. Emory's has created a unique non-traditional style of wedding invitation which pushes the envelope for the traditional Southern Belle's Wedding. Each aspect of the invitations are hand-sketched then manipulated in Photoshop and Illustrator. Emory incorporates many symbolic expressions and motifs which speak to the interests and activities of the couple in order to make the invitation as personal as possible.

Emory also designs logo's and finds particular enjoyment in playing with repetitive forms as well as the negative space created by shapes. When possible, Emory uses his background in fine art to create a very hands on approach, by working off the computer then translating or transferring his ideas to the computer screen for print. He was recently commissioned to make custom press kits for musician, William F Gibbs. Emory Chose to use repurposed cigar boxes as a means of encapsulating the musicians album along with the carefully and uniquely crafted press release, artist biography and other embellishments.
